We here at Torqued Magazine get amazing opportunities to get our hands on some of the greatest products on the market today. We relish this opportunity to not only learn about these items, but give our readers the honest truth about these products and how they handle the in and outs of today’s consumers needs.

One product we can honestly say is built to last and that we loved testing is the Rock River Arms Coyote.

When it comes to the need for a firearm that is versatile, dependable and fulfills that Fun factor, the Coyote is that firearm.

When we received our test unit it was very well protected in a hard case direct from the factory. The gun was easy to assemble and built well. Once assembled it was go time for the Fun factor we crave.

First thoughts after sending a few down range, this gun is accurate right out of the box no tweaking needed. The Coyote is lightweight but sturdy. The gun feels like it’s made specifically for me just the way it felt in my hands. Yea I liked it.

The Coyote is chambered for 5.56 and 2.23 sized rounds. The Coyote is named for what it is, a varmit shooter, but oh is it so much more than that. It it definetly one of the more versatile guns we’ve had the privilege to have in our hands. It’s offered in a 16″ or a 20″ barrel. Our unit came with a super comfortable RRA Operator A2 stock. Which absorbed any recoil. The Coyote offers a Hogue pistol grip which felt great in our hands. The extended free float, rifle length rail is flat out awesome. Built to handle your accessories or just for you to grip with your front hand and let the ammo rip down range.

One thing that stood out and honestly I loved the most was the design of the Smith Vortex flash hider. What a beautiful and unique muzzle break. It it does it’s job well.

We tested this gun out in various weather conditions and various locations and never once had any issues. The stock magazine cycled the rounds perfectly and the bolt never once jammed. Is it dependable? Yes and yes.
