Oceanside, Calif. — April 21, 2026 — Jeff Hermann, Vice President of Brand and Strategy at MagnaFlow Group, has officially announced his candidacy for the SEMA Board of Directors (https://www.jeff4sema.com), presenting a clear vision for preserving the heritage of the automotive aftermarket while preparing it for a rapidly evolving future.

“At a time when our industry faces unprecedented change, strong and focused leadership is more important than ever,” said Hermann. “I’m running for the SEMA Board of Directors to help protect what built this industry while preparing it for what’s next.”

Herman has already received the support of a broad coalition of racers, industry leaders, and automotive personalities, including Mario Andretti, Chip Foose, and Alex Parker. They are asking their peers to join in preserving automotive culture, protecting motorsports, and driving the future of the aftermarket.

“As a designer and builder, I’m a big believer in SEMA’s role in helping its members succeed in the automotive industry,” said Chip Foose. “I support Jeff Hermann’s run for this position because board members are so critical to fulfilling SEMA’s mission. Jeff is not just part of this industry, he’s out there building it and pushing it forward.”

The automotive aftermarket stands at a pivotal crossroads, shaped by shifting regulations, emerging vehicle technologies, and evolving consumer expectations. Hermann believes SEMA must lead with clarity and purpose to ensure the industry not only adapts—but thrives.

A Platform Built on Three Core Priorities
Hermann’s campaign centers on three key priorities designed to safeguard the industry’s legacy while driving meaningful progress:

Preserve Automotive Culture
Hermann is committed to maintaining the SEMA Show as the global destination for automotive passion and innovation. He supports legislative efforts such as Leno’s Law to protect classic vehicles and is a strong advocate for preserving consumer choice across internal combustion engine (ICE), hybrid, and electric vehicle (EV) platforms.

Protect Motorsports
Recognizing racing as the foundation of innovation, Hermann aims to strengthen support for Right to Race initiatives, protect access to public lands, and ensure that motorsports organizations like PRI remain central to the performance ecosystem.

Drive the Future Forward
Hermann plans to champion Right to Repair and Right to Modify policies, expand access to SEMA Garage resources—particularly in ADAS and EV integration—and ensure that innovation remains accessible to businesses of all sizes.

Rooted in Passion, Proven in Leadership
Hermann’s connection to the automotive world began in the garage, learning alongside his father, and has evolved into a career leading performance brands, motorsports programs, and new technology ventures. Today, he continues to share that passion with his own children, reinforcing a hands-on perspective that informs his leadership style.

At MagnaFlow Group, Hermann oversees corporate development, marketing, and innovation across a portfolio of aftermarket brands. He led the acquisition and growth of Camburg Engineering and co-founded Foose Performance and MagnaVolt, expanding the company’s reach into both traditional performance and emerging vehicle technologies. His extensive executive experience and professional background provide a comprehensive understanding of the needs of manufacturers, distributors, racers, builders, and the next generation of enthusiasts.

A Call for Focused Leadership
“The decisions we make today will define the future of the aftermarket industry for the next decade,” Hermann added. “We must stay grounded and transparent in how we continue to build this community while embracing the opportunities ahead. I’m committed to helping SEMA lead with focus, protect our shared passion, and ensure a strong future for everyone in this industry.”
