READING, PENNSYLVANIA — March 3, 2026 — EnerSys (NYSE: ENS), a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications and manufacturer of ODYSSEY® batteries, will debut the ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery at the American Trucking Associations (ATA) Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) 2026 Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition in booth #1928. Engineered for today’s power-intensive heavy-duty applications, the ODYSSEY® Evolution battery features proprietary AGM2 Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology and delivers up to 650 cycles at 80% Depth of Discharge (DOD), helping fleets increase uptime and lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

“The ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery represents a meaningful step forward in commercial vehicle power performance,” said Jim Bevan, Senior Director of Transportation Products at EnerSys. “As electrical loads increase across modern heavy-duty platforms, fleets need batteries that can withstand deeper cycling, harsher conditions, and extended service intervals. By combining proven AGM construction with advanced TPPL technology, we’re delivering a solution built for reliability, durability, and long-term value.”

The ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery integrates with the ODYSSEY® Connect battery monitoring system, which tracks key performance metrics including State of Charge (SOC), State of Health (SOH), voltage, and temperature. Battery data is transmitted to any smart device, enabling users to monitor battery health in real time and proactively address issues before they impact operations.

“From the first day of battery operation, the ODYSSEY® Connect system captures and analyzes battery operating history to provide a complete view of battery health, usage patterns, and performance trends over time,” added Bevan. “These insights can help end-users stay ahead of developing battery issues and make smarter, more proactive maintenance decisions to help avoid unplanned downtime.”

Additional benefits and features of the ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery include:

  • Up to 10-year service life
  • Operating temperature range from -40°F (-40°C) to 176°F (80°C)
  • 800 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA)
  • 220-minute Reserve Capacity (RC)
