LAS VEGAS – August 13, 2026  A small number of the recently introduced Shelby Super Snake F-150 truck from Shelby American, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carroll Shelby International Inc. (CSBI:PK), will be available with the limited “Championship Edition” package in celebration of the company’s many mid-1960s racing victories. Built by Shelby Performance in Bristol, Indiana, only 144 of the Championship Edition trucks will be manufactured with new paint schemes. Each of the two-door Sport and four-door SuperCrew trucks will feature 810+ horsepower, advanced road focused suspension and other options. The limited number of Championship Edition trucks are available through a nationwide network of dealers.

“The Championship Edition Ford Shelby F-150 Off-Road truck was a huge hit when we introduced the option a few months ago,” said Gary Patterson, President of Shelby American. “When we announced the new Super Snake trucks, requests rolled in for a Championship Edition package for the lowered, street focused version of the pickup.”

Introduced recently for North America, the Shelby Super Snake F-150 is lightning fast. Available in either four-door (SuperCrew) or two-door (Sport) configuration, the 4-wheel drive truck comes standard with 400 standard horsepower; an optional supercharger boosts the V8 to 810* horsepower. The heavy-duty suspension and underbody of the truck were designed for fast turns with a Shelby exclusive adjustable lowered suspension featuring KING adjustable coilover shocks and traction bars keep the rear in place. Shelby installed Baer oversized drilled & slotted performance rotors for improved cooling and braking performance. The two-door Shelby Super Snake Sport has a unique grille and other body features that resemble the Super Snake Mustang.

The Championship Edition commemorates highlights in American racing history. During the 1960s, Shelby American was a force in racing worldwide. From winning the FIA World Championship to taking NHRA crowns and sedan road racing titles, Shelby dominated in 1965. The next year, Shelby American helped Ford Motor Company win the inaugural Trans Am series and then conquer sports car endurance racing. Competing with the Ford GT40, Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby won races at Sebring and Daytona; the FIA declared the Chris Amon/Bruce McLaren driven Shelby American GT40 the victor at Le Mans. Shelby also won the SCCA B-production class again with the Shelby GT350.

“The Shelby F-150 Super Snake is the pinnacle of contemporary American muscle truck performance,” said Vince LaViolette, Shelby American Vice President of Operations. “They incorporate the same innovation that earned Shelby American so many championships 60 years ago. The stunning trucks make a visual statement as bold as the performance capabilities.”

The 144 total Shelby F-150 Super Snakes pickups for the 2026 model year will be repainted, striped and badged in one of three versions to honor Shelby American’s racing wins; a total of 28 will be painted in each of the three colors. When added to the previous Championship Edition trucks, the total will be 198 for the 2026 model year.

The pickups will be refinished at the Shelby Performance facility then delivered through an authorized Shelby dealer. Each will receive a “Championship Edition” side stripe and painted one of three liveries:

  • Pearl Orange in honor of the Daytona victory
  • Pearl Green to commemorate the Sebring overall win
  • Pearl Blue in honor of the 24 hours of Le Mans win

The trucks will have a carbon fiber intake tube feeding a Shelby engineered stage 2 supercharger that are powder coated to match the exclusive exterior color. Other elements include unique exterior and interior badges, special upholstery stitching to match the exterior paint and a unique Shelby serial number that will be listed in the official Shelby Registry. The trucks include membership in the Team Shelby Club and a certificate confirming its exclusive status.

“The response to the Championship Edition Shelby F-150 Off-Road truck was stunning, with each of the vehicles snapped up within a few days,” said Brock Patterson, Shelby Performance Director of Sales and Marketing. “Speculation is that demand for the Championship Edition Shelby Super Snake F-150 street trucks will be even stronger. This handful of trucks will be instantly collectible the moment they roll out of the paint booth.”

The 2026 Championship Edition Shelby F-150 Super Snake SuperCrew has an MSRP of $158,795, including a fully loaded Lariat 4×4 F-150 SuperCrew chassis with a 5.0 engine. The 2026 Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport two-door single cab carries an MSRP of $133,795 (supercharged); that includes the base F-150. All the Shelby trucks come with a 3 year/36,000-mile warranty. The powertrain warranty from Ford Motor Company remains intact.

Only 144 of these light-duty trucks will be offered through select Shelby Performance Ford dealers across the United States. These trucks will also be listed in Black Book. Individuals interested in a Shelby vehicle can visit their local dealer or go to www.shelby.com.
