The Mint 400 “Unlimited Race” 2026

Oceanside, Calif. – April 24, 2026 – Jeff Hermann of MagnaFlow Group and SEMA Board of Directors candidate (https://www.jeff4sema.com/) continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening the off-road and racing community through hands-on involvement, advocacy, and industry leadership. Known for his passion for motorsports, Hermann has earned the endorsement of key leaders in motorsports and the industry for his consistent support of racers, businesses, and racetracks at every level from grassroots competitors to top-tier professionals.

Today, Hermann also leads one of the few factory-backed race teams in off road racing, actively testing new products and technology in real-world racing conditions and winning. Under his leadership, the Camburg Racing team has built an impressive track record since Hermann led the acquisition of Camburg Engineering into the MagnaFlow Group, securing victories across major events and proving performance on the toughest stages. Since January 2024, they have won 8 class wins, including most recently, the team captured its biggest achievement yet: the first over overall win of a SPEC truck at the 2026 Mint 400.

“Jeff understands that racing is more than competition – it’s an ecosystem,” said Matt Martelli, CEO of Unlimited Off-Road Racing. “From supporting events to investing in teams and technology, he’s helping move the entire sport forward. That’s the kind of leadership motorsports needs.”

“Winning isn’t just about standing on the podium,” said Hermann. “It’s about validation. Racing is where we push our products to the limit, prove what works, and take those lessons back to the aftermarket.” Hermann’s philosophy centers on using racing as a proving ground for innovation; developing technology on the track and ultimately delivering those advancements to enthusiasts and builders. “That’s how you build a real brand in this industry,” Hermann added.

Beyond competition, Hermann has remained deeply committed to the broader motorsports ecosystem. With a history going back to high school jobs at the NHRA Museum in Pomona, California, to later years building cars for true grassroots racing in the 24 Hours of Lemons, that same passion for racing has carried through his entire career, from sponsoring race programs and supporting grassroots competitors to advocating for SEMA’s Right to Race initiatives to protect access to tracks and public lands.

“Racing has always been about community,” Hermann said. “Whether it’s a local off-road event or a national series, the people behind the scenes – the teams, the tracks, the manufacturers – are what make this industry strong. Supporting them isn’t just important, it’s necessary for the future of motorsports.”

A long-time advocate for industry collaboration, Hermann has also been instrumental in expanding MagnaFlow’s presence at major industry events, including at the Performance Racing Industry Show (PRI Show). His leadership has helped connect MagnaFlow with key partners, racers, and innovators across the racing world.

“The PRI Show is where the industry comes together to share ideas, showcase innovation, and build relationships,” Hermann added. “It’s critical that companies like MagnaFlow show up, support the community, and invest in the future of racing.” Hermann’s influence is reflected in the respect he has earned across the motorsports landscape. His work has helped foster relationships with legendary figures and modern champions alike, reinforcing his reputation as a dedicated supporter of racing culture.

Notable supporters and industry figures aligned with Hermann’s efforts include:

  • Mario Andretti
  • Ivan Stewart
  • Richard Petty
  • Joey Logano
  • Kyle Jergensen
  • Blake Wilkey
  • Roger Norman
  • Matt Martelli

Through his continued leadership at MagnaFlow Group, Hermann remains focused on advancing the industry, supporting racers and businesses, and ensuring that racing – especially off-road -continues to grow for generations to come. “Motorsports powers our aftermarket industry.” Hermann said. “Being able to give back by supporting racers, tracks, and the businesses that keep this industry moving – that’s what drives me every day.”

Hermann is currently a candidate for the 2026 SEMA Board of Directors, where he is focused on protecting motorsports, preserving automotive culture, and helping lead the aftermarket into the future.
