Despite the unlucky weather, which led to the finals being cancelled on Sunday, February 8, the 2026 edition of Red Bull Hardline Tasmania saw American Asa Vermette and Canada’s Gracey Hemstreet crowned champions based on Saturday’s seeding results. – both athletes delivering standout performances on one of mountain biking’s most demanding courses. Here is everything you need to know:

– In the men’s events, Vermette topped the field with a blistering run of 3:15.805, finishing a huge 2.132 seconds clear of Ireland’s Rónán Dunne and 2.293 seconds ahead of home favourite Troy Brosnan.

– With the victory, Vermette became the youngest ever rider to win two Red Bull Hardline events, having previously triumphed last year in Wales.

– In the women’s category, Hemstreet once again proved dominant on the Tasmanian course, stopping the clock at 4:08.534, with British rider Louise Ferguson claiming second after finishing 4.84 seconds behind the Canadian.

– The victory for Hemstreet made it back-to-back wins at Red Bull Hardline Tasmania and made her the first-ever woman to win two Red Bull Hardline events, having made history last year by becoming the inaugural women’s champion.

– Rounding out the results, French ace Edgar Briole took home the Mophie Fastest Charger award for setting the fastest speed through the Mophie Creek Gap jump, while Red Bull Hardline rookie Mikayla Parton was named Rider of the Week after topping the votes from her fellow riders.
