READING, PENNSYLVANIA — October 14, 2025 — EnerSys (NYSE: ENS), a global leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications and the manufacturer of ODYSSEY® batteries, is expanding its industry-leading portfolio of ODYSSEY® batteries with the introduction of the ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery. Featuring exclusive AGM2 technology – the latest in Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) power combined with proprietary Thin Plate Pure Lead (TPPL) technology – the ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery offers over 650 charge/recharge cycles at 80 percent Depth of Discharge (DOD). The battery is a reliable choice for multi-battery marine systems and for medium- to heavy-duty trucks with hotel loads, Electric Auxiliary Power Units (EAPUs) or other auxiliary equipment such as liftgate trailers and reefer units. The ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery is also well-suited for powering first response vehicles and construction site machinery.

The ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery offers up to a 10-year service life and is compatible with the ODYSSEY® Connect battery monitoring system that tracks battery health and spots anomalies to help prevent premature failures. The new battery can also operate in temperatures from -40°F (-40°C) to 176°F (80°C) and is backed by an industry-leading warranty. The ODYSSEY® Evolution ODV31 battery offers Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) of 700 as well as a Reserve Capacity (RC) of 220 minutes.
