Asa Vermette’s rise in downhill mountain biking continues to gather pace, with a new ‘Sound of Speed’ edit showing him on the Schladming World Cup track in Austria. The short film captures Vermette in full attack mode on one of the sport’s classic downhill lines, with fellow Canadian Finn Iles also appearing in the edit.

The track has long been known for its high level of challenge, with root sections, high-speed passages and technically demanding turns that demand full control and precise riding skills.

In a recent Just Ride episode, Rob Warner and Eliot Jackson also sat down with Asa Vermette to look back on his junior career, the Elite World Cup success and mindset behind his progression.
