King of the Hammers is always one of the most exciting few weeks of the off-road season, and Polaris is coming in strong with multiple storylines worth watching. Following the RZR Factory Racing team’s run in the Desert Challenge this past Saturday where Brock Heger once again took the UTV overall win, Polaris will continue its King of the Hammers push by fielding two purpose-built RZR XP S machines in the UTV Hammers Championship Rock Race.

The all-new 72-inch wide RZR XP S, which launched in October, is Polaris’ strongest trail-proven machine to date. Designed for riders who crave wide-open terrain capability at a competitive price point, the XP S delivers the same structural strength, performance, and durability upgrades found on the RZR XP, paired with a wider 72-inch stance and 25 inches of usable suspension travel for added stability and confidence in extreme terrain, making it an ideal machine to take on King of the Hammers.

While the vehicles remain stock-based, both RZR XP S entries have been reinforced with competition-approved components to comply with race regulations and withstand the extreme demands of the rock race. From brutal rock crawling sections like Chocolate Thunder to relentless impacts throughout the course, the builds focus on strength, protection, and reliability while staying true to the production platform.

One of the XP S entries will be piloted by RZR Factory Racing driver Cayden MacCachren in the Pro Stock NA class, as the brand looks to dethrone the competition and put Polaris on top of the box in the class.

The second XP S brings a fun, star-studded twist to the week. Freestyle motocross legend Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and off-road racer Brad DeBerti will team up in the Sportsman class, sharing driving and co-driving duties throughout the race. Their longtime friendship and competitive banter are sure to make for entertaining moments both in and out of the cockpit, and fans can follow all the action live during the race on both of their YouTube channels – TwitchThis1 and DeBerti
