Barrett-Jackson to Offer Remarkable Lineup of Porsches, Including 1997 993 Turbo S, During Scottsdale Auction

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Dec. 16, 2025 – Barrett-Jackson (https://www.barrett-jackson.com/), The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, announced today a remarkable lineup of coveted Porsches that will cross the block with No Reserve during the 2026 Scottsdale Auction, Jan. 17-25 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Barrett-Jackson will auction a 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo S (preview), which is one of 176 built exclusively for North America and represents the final evolution of the air-cooled 911. Also crossing the block is an off-road-capable 2024 911 Dakar (preview) featuring all-wheel drive, Dakar suspension, and Rallye and Off-Road modes.

“Porsche has profoundly shaped the automotive industry with its bold engineering and timeless design,” said Craig Jackson, chairman and CEO of Barrett-Jackson. “The German marque has a deep performance and motorsport heritage that has been transferred across the entire lineup over the decades. This has resulted in truly desirable sports cars coveted by collectors and enthusiasts worldwide. We will auction several inspiring 1990s and late-model Porsches, including a limited factory production and true masterpiece of German engineering, the1997 933 Turbo S (preview). This coveted car, along with many others, will all cross the block with No Reserve in January.”

The 1997 Porsche 993 Turbo S (preview) is finished in black paint over a black leather and carbon-fiber interior; it was the only year the Turbo S was offered in North America. It is powered by a rear-mounted, twin-turbocharged engine rated at 424 horsepower. Exterior features include the Aerokit II front and rear spoilers, extra air inlets in front and rear, yellow brake calipers and Turbo S badging. A restored 1982 911 SC (preview) was in the 2022 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge, where it earned the Regional and National People’s Choice awards. It is powered by a 172-horsepower air-cooled flat-6 aluminum engine with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

A first-place winner of the 2024 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge, the 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo (preview) is powered by a turbocharged flat-6 engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. It is finished in its factory Peru Red exterior with a Cork leather interior and reflects meticulous craftsmanship, with every system and surface returned to factory specification to allow the 930 Turbo to perform as it did when new. A 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 (preview) on the docket was entered into the Preservation category of the 2023 Porsche Classic Restoration Challenge by Porsche Louisville. Retaining its originality, it is powered by an air-cooled flat-6 “Mezger” engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

A number of late-model Porsches crossing the block include a 2024 911 Dakar (preview) powered by a twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine rated at 473 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed PDK transmission and Porsche all-wheel-drive system. Finished in a Martini Livery with 49 actual miles, the 2025 911 Turbo S (preview) is capable of producing 640 horsepower and features an advanced all-wheel-drive system and 8-speed PDK transmission.

A 2025 Porsche Taycan Turbo GT (preview) with 157 actual miles is equipped with the Weissach Package and powered by dual electric motors delivering all-wheel drive and 0 to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds, supported by a 105-kWh battery system. The interior features lightweight bucket seats, premium materials and Porsche’s Digital Cockpit interface, as well as integrated infotainment and driver-assistance system. Powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 producing 473 horsepower, a 2023 Panamera GTS Sport Turismo (preview) features the High Gloss Black Exterior Package. Interior features include a heated GT Sport steering wheel in leather, an ionizer, Exclusive Design fuel cap, ski bag and a Premium Package.
