ROCKAWAY, NEW JERSEY – Dec. 2, 2025 – TOPDON USA (https://www.topdon.us/), a leading provider of cutting-edge diagnostic tools and technology solutions for automotive professionals, announced today the addition of the RLink X3 (https://www.topdon.us/products/rlink-x3) to its line of diagnostic tools. Ideal for professional mechanics and vehicle owners alike, the RLink X3 delivers dealership-level diagnostics on top U.S. vehicle brands including Ford (FDRS/FJDS, FORscan, FEPS), General Motors (GDS2/TLC/Tech2win, SPS) and Chrysler (WiTech2, alfaOBD). RLink X3 is now available through TOPDON’s national distribution network.

“Our new RLink X3 is the ideal diagnostic tool for professional mechanics, as well as vehicle owners, who largely work on domestic brand vehicles,” said Chad Schnitz, Vice President of TOPDON USA. “By focusing on the unique systems and technologies of these specific domestic brands, professional technicians and shop owners can streamline customer repairs. For the DIY’ers who work on their own vehicles it ensures faster problem identification, which can minimize repair time and even costs.”

The RLink X3 works on eight OE software systems and achieves OEM-level diagnostics when paired with OE software including ECU programming and coding, active test and special functions. It also supports J2534 and CAN-FD protocols ensuring compatibility with a wide range of vehicles from 2006 to the latest 2025 models. The RLink X3 includes a lifetime of free driver updates, real-world programming case references and direct user feedback submission.

“The RLink X3 is a game-changing solution for mechanics who focus mostly on these domestic brands,” said Schnitz. “The ability to quickly identify issues with engine performance, electrical systems and other critical components means reduced downtime and faster turnaround repairs for shop owners and their customers. By streamlining these complex repairs, shops can handle more jobs in less time, improving productivity, and eventually profitability.”
