

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Jan. 8, 2026 – Barrett-Jackson (https://www.barrett-jackson.com/), The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions, will offer a variety of distinctive vehicles at No Reserve, including a rock star’s 1967 muscle car (Lot #4000), HEMI-powered custom vintage Checker Cab (Lot #1006) and a three-wheeled 1964 Greyhound Escorter (Lot #443.1) during the 2026 Scottsdale Auction, Jan. 17-25 at WestWorld of Scottsdale. Finished in stunning Taxicab Yellow, the custom 1956 Checker Marathon Hemi Taxi (Lot #1006) was built by the famous Barry’s Speed Shop. Also crossing the block is the 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible (Lot #4000) owned by Grammy-nominated rock singer, songwriter, and producer Linda Perry.

Known for her powerful voice as the lead singer of 4 Non Blondes and her prolific songwriting career producing hits for artists like Christina Aguilera, P!nk, and Adele, Linda Perry is offering her 1967 Chevrolet Camaro convertible (Lot #4000) to the public. One of Perry’s most famous songs, the 1993 hit “What’s Up?,” recently experienced a massive resurgence, going viral across TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms, introducing her work to a new generation of fans. Owned by Perry for almost 20 years, the stunning first-generation Camaro represents a piece of rock history and automotive excellence. The Camaro is powered by a 350ci V8 engine with 4-speed manual transmission. Included with the sale is an exclusive opportunity to join Linda Perry for an afternoon studio recording session.
Perry will have a solo album called Let It Die Here coming out in 2026. Her documentary of the same title, “Let It Die Here’ will have a theatrical and streaming release in 2026. In 2025 4 Non Blondes reunited for the first time in 30 years and performed at various festivals across America in 2025 including BottleRock, Sea.Hear.Now and Shaky Knees. The band wrote a new album and plan to release it in late 2026 — the first new 4 Non Blondes album in nearly 30 years.
Another vehicle bound to garner attention is a 1956 Checker Marathon HEMI Taxi (Lot #1006) built by Barry’s Speed Shop. Finished in stunning Taxicab Yellow with custom air-brushed checkered stripes and logos, the car is a work of art. From the hand-crafted black leather interior with Classic Instrument gauges and a Vintage Air system to the hand-fabricated tubular frame with four-link rear suspension, it is a Pro-Street interpretation of a Marathon taxicab.

A vehicle with “star power” running across the block is this 1964 Greyhound Escorter (Lot # 443.1) that appeared in the 2015 film “Tomorrowland,” starring George Clooney. One-hundred and fifty were built for the 1964 New York World’s Fair to transport VIPs on the fairgrounds. The three-wheeler has a welded steel frame with a fiberglass body and is powered by a rebuilt 2-cylinder Onan engine. The Escorter was restored to its factory specs with period-correct graphics and genuine GM materials. Features include a Rockwell taxi meter, Dukane musical horn and disc brakes. It is one of three functional examples known.
The custom 2004 Radio Flyer Wagon (Lot #444) is a street-legal vehicle constructed on a 2004 Mazda pickup chassis. Power comes from an inline 4-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission, allowing the vehicle to hit approximately 65 mph. The build features a detailed finish inspired by the classic Radio Flyer design.

- 2008 Ford Shelby GT Barrett-Jackson Limited Edition (Lot #668.1) – One of 39 convertibles produced; the dash was signed by Carroll Shelby, Craig Jackson and Steve Davis.
- Restored 1967 Volkswagen 21-Window Microbus (Lot #751): From the final year for the 21-window split-windshield microbus in the U.S. It received a rotisserie restoration and is powered by a 1776cc engine.
- 1957 Volvo TP21 custom radio command car (Lot #1061): Powered by a Chevrolet V8; interior features include retractable LCD TV, TracVision mobile satellite system, PlayStation 4 and a power retractable beverage cooler in the trunk.
- 1951 Chevrolet 5700 COE Crew Custom Hauler (Lot #1438.1): Powered by a rebuilt 5.9 Turbo Cummins Diesel paired with an automatic transmission; finished in custom Inferno Orange

On Friday, Jan. 16, country music superstar Cole Swindell will perform live for the 3rd annual “Rock The Block” concert in the Auction Arena at WestWorld of Scottsdale. In addition, the opening act will feature multi-platinum singer-songwriter Chase Rice.
