Double Victory for Glen Jung as MRT Racers Lead the Charge

Huntington Beach, CA – August 2025 — MRT Tires once again proved their unmatched durability and race-winning performance, delivering dominate results at the grueling NORES (National Off Road Endurance Series) SXS 12-Hour endurance race, held July 25-27, 2025 at Famous Reading Outdoors in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.
Battling relentless rocky climbs, axle-deep mud, and rugged coal-country terrain, MRT racers showed why they trust MRT to carry them through the finish — no matter the challenge.
Leading the way, Glen Jung (#77) iron manned his way to finish 1st place in both the Pro 12-Hour and Pro 6-Hour events on 33” MRT Desert Storm tires. Close behind, Eric Westover (#212) secured 2nd place in both the Pro 12-Hour and Pro 6-Hour, while Thomas Robinson (#344) claimed 3rd in the Sportsman 12-Hour and 3rd in the Open 1-Hour; all on MRT Desert Storm Tires. In the Weekend Warrior SxS class, Stephen Raccomandato (#17) overcame a broken rim that forced his team to run a tire flat for over six miles — and the MRT Desert Storm tire still finished the race without damage.
“The terrain was brutal, and we even had to run a flat for six miles due to a broken rim. The rim was destroyed, but the tire had absolutely no damage — I attest to how durable MRT Desert Storms are.” — Stephen Raccomandato #17
“Awesome to bring home multiple wins in Pro UTV for the 77 Motorsport Team at the SXS 12 Hour Endurance Race with NORES. Thanks to MRT Tires for their support and taking a beating through the gnarliest conditions for 12 hours!!!” — Glen Jung #77

MRT’s attention to quality with MRT Race Series tires and Muscle Race wheels is revolutionizing racers performance! MRT racers accomplishments are due to the performance of MRT’s tires built with Kevlar Armor Belt for anti-puncture durability – this gives MRT drivers the confidence to tackle tough terrains and weather conditions. These tires feature triple belt Kevlar, QUAD belt Kevlar, Apex Bead Grip and sticky tread compound, which results in anti-puncture performance and durability to withstand the most extreme weather conditions and the toughest terrains.

“We are proud of our racers and their performance! Our motto ‘Quality When You Need It’ is proven again and again on these courses. These tires and wheels pass the strictest of tests and scrutiny before they are released. It’s this focus that allows drivers to race with confidence. We accredit the Kevlar Armor Belt as the strongest best traction UTV tires on the market. And our continued innovation ensures our tires are always able to succeed through the toughest challenges” according to Mark Thornburg, president MRT.
